Crown Point closes out its festival season with Oktoberfest on Saturday, Oct 3, 2026, at Bulldog Park right on the historic courthouse square. The free, family-friendly event brings German and Bavarian food vendors, a beer garden, live music from polka bands and evening dance bands, hayrides around downtown, a bean bag tournament, face painting, and kids' games and pie-eating contests to the downtown park, with the old courthouse clock tower glowing in the background. The 2026 edition runs noon to 10 p.m. It is the perfect cap to a fall Saturday in Crown Point: grab bratwurst and a seat on the lawn, then wander the square's boutiques as the day winds down.
