The Weekend Guide is a curated collection of things to do on the weekend across the two states I serve: Illinois and Indiana. I cover towns like Beecher, Burbank, Crete, Evergreen Park, Frankfort, Mokena, New Lenox, Oak Lawn, and Orland Park on the Illinois side, and Crown Point, Dyer, Highland, Munster, Portage, Schererville, and St John on the Indiana side.
Every pick is something I'd actually recommend to a friend. New restaurant openings, farmers markets, park events, theater performances, family activities, and hidden gems that locals know about but visitors might miss.
